The best solution in an integrated system

The ideal solution Roccheggiani proposes for the air conditioning of offices, both partioned and open-space, is a system made up of an air handling unit with on board integrated regulation and chilled beams used as room terminals that provide cooling, heating and ventilation. This system can be optimized by the employment of the innovative three stages recovery RRU-FA air handling unit.Each room is self-managed by the control panel that allows to adjust the temperature to the desired level.

The air handling unit is the core of the chilled beam system; it provides the renewal of air in the rooms, as specified by the actual rules, and ensures the correct humidity level.

TFS2 is an active chilled beam with 2 way air spread pattern, developed for false ceiling installation. Thanks to the aesthetic aspect, linear and clean, with extruded aluminium profiles that guarantee a perfect linearity, it is particularly suitable for the application in offices, both partitioned and open-space. It is equipped with the patented Roccheggiani air modification launch system that guarantees no performance reduction, and also with the integrated system for regulating the air flow rate. It is available in any colours. All mechanical parts, including control valves and actuators can be reached by opening the bottom panel. The visible portion is independent from the length of the active part. The TFS2-L version has the same performances of the TFS2 one, but integrates two modern lighting bodies on the unit profiles that ensure a comfortable lighting of the environments.

TFS2 / TFS2-L chilled beam system for false ceiling mounting provides the following advantages:

Onboard integrated automatic regulation
System based on a programmable microprocessor control, specifically programmed for efficiency improvement of HVAC/R systems; it controls and monitors the AHU’s functions and setpoints, communicates with the office supervision system for a sensible management of energy consumption.

Some main characteristics of the Connectivity System are:

  • It remotely controls the units by means of a modem and by internet also with a simple browser
  • it informs the authorized staff, wherever they are, about possible alarm situations, also by SMS and e-mail
  • it builds logs of alarms and graphs for an accurate diagnostic of the unit

it can work with distributed intelligence and with integrated solutions, receiving and sharing information from and with third party devices in order to:

  • have an optimized handling/management/control of the units
  • ensure a high level of system efficiency (energy savings)


  • No risk in transmitting or exchanging important information or data, even if through “open” nets
  • Different accesses to the unit, according either to the maintenance staff or the supervision staff
  • Safe access by means of internet or by VPN (virtual private network)

Possible supervision of the whole Building Management System with dedicated and customizable architectures.
